Collaborations – Critical Care Societies
The Belgian Association for Regional Anesthesia is the official Belgian representative of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia. Since its founding by a group of dedicated anesthesiologists in 2001, the BARA has quickly become one of the largest anesthesia organizations in Belgium.
The Critical Care Society of Kenya is a registered professional organization under the Societies Act (CAP 108, Laws of Kenya). It brings together a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals including physicians, medical officers and allied health workers dedicated to advancing critical care medicine in Kenya.
CCSK works to promote excellence in critical care by supporting professional development, offering expert guidance to health authorities and fostering collaboration in education and research.
Key Objectives
1. Promoting high standards in the delivery of critical care.
2. Supporting continuing professional development and education.
3. Advising the Ministry of Health and academic institutions on training and policy.
4. Standardizing clinical practice guidelines across the country
5. Encouraging and facilitating research in critical care.
The Egyptian Society of Anesthesiology And Acute Care medicine (ESAAC) is a leading medical organization in the field of anesthesiology and acute care in Egypt, with a global membership. ESAAC is a non-profit making international association. ESSAC supports and promotes the advancement of knowledge and training in both fields of anesthesiology and acute care medicine, in particular the promotion of anesthesiology and acute care medicine the highest standards of multidisciplinary care of critically ill patients and their families through education, research and professional development. Established on February 2021 representing all anaesthesia, acute care and pain management specialist all over Egypt with more than 1400 members. We provide many scientific courses and lectures presented by internationally known professors.

We are an independent, patient centered professional organization comprises of Specialists in Critical Care Medicine. We hold the vision of “Commitment and Care”. It signifies our role as committed professionals aiming at delivery of passionate care towards critically ill patients. Our strategic plans and objectives are all centered on above two aspects which we highly value.
Our role in quality improvement: We recognize the improvement of quality of care delivered as a key determinant of ultimate outcome.
Setting up standards with development of guidelines, accreditation schemes and continuous assessment through audit programs and patient safety initiatives are few of numerous projects carried out by us. Further, we play a major role in advocating state and non-state institutions in view of uplifting the field of Critical Care Medicine.
